Demo Group Sample

Sneak Peek

We have a great group of SU Demonstrators that get together on a monthly basis to share ideas and projects. These very talented ladies do some of the most fantastic projects and I thought I would share some of them with you. This month we concentrated on the new products that will be in the 2009 - 2010 Idea Book & Catalog from Stampin' Up! Hope you enjoy your little sneak peek.


This card using the Circle Circus stamp set was created by Nancy Gelle using the new in-colors classic inks, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede, Bermuda Bay, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo and dusty Durango. Aren't they just beautiful...

Hostess Gift

This is a little goodie bag that I put together for one of my hostess groups. I used the fifth avenue floral stamp set (item # 113734) water colored the little flowers, and added a little designer paper and ribbon...I just love this set. There are so many samples out there using this set. This would make a great little end of school gift for friends of your kids or their teachers...fill with M&M's (hey who doesn't love chocolate) and you're good to go.

Daisy Basket

I saw this little basket on Sandi Maclver's website www.sandimaciver.com and knew I just had to make these for our demo group. The bright colors just shouted Spring time to me and then fill it with chocolate....well what could be better??? I used multiple flowers from the Flower Daisies #2 die and 2 large Scallop Circles cut using the Big Shot. There are also 3 Corduroy buttons (love, love, love these) in Kiwi Kiss...one of the outgoing In Colors from SU...don't forget you can still order the retiring accessories but they are going fast. Just go to the order 24x7 icon on my site to put your order in.

The Big Shot, until the end of June, can still be purchased in a kit (A $20.00 savings over the individual pieces)....beginning July 1st you will only be able to buy it as individual items. Happy 90th Birthday Card

Happy Birthday Mr. Pannell!!

One of my club friends, Bev Shaw, wanted to put together a 90th birthday card for her dad, Charles Pannell. He's a major Detroit Tigers fan so she wanted the card to have a baseball feel. Bev had several ideas that we worked on to incorporate into the card and this is her final sample that she will be duplicating and sending out to family and friends. I think it turned out awesome - hope you do too!!

Jude Camping

Just wanted to share with you a picture of my grandson Jude at Groveland Oaks Campground over the Memorial weekend. He had so much fun running around getting pinecones. They sure do grow up quickly....

Congratulations Erin

I recently attended the wedding shower of Erin Crigger, the Daughter of a long time Friend Lavon...and knew I had to put together something special for the bride from Stampin' Up! So I created a set of Thank you cards using the big shot Beautiful Butterflies die with Rockabilly Designer papers...It has been printed with a gloss design which gives a great effect on the butterfly. I embossed the front of the card using Baroque Motifs stampset. I put them all together in a gift bag for her to take back to Nevada...Hope you enjoy. Thanks for looking

Manly Man Card Class

Mother's Day Card and Box

Just wanted to share a new class that I have planned for May 1st. It's a cool box holder with 4 cards that would be perfect for a Mother's Day gift or a great birthday present for a dear friend.

The class will be held from 7:00 to 10:00 pm in my stamp room and will include many really cool accessories like the corduroy buttons, Kraft Ribbon and Urban Oasis Designer Series Paper. The cost is $25.00 (pre-pay when you RSVP) BUT if you register for this class by April 17th and pre-pay you will be able to get the class for $20.00. Just call or send me an email to sign up!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Jude

Today is the 3rd birthday of my Grandson Jude...we had a great family party yesterday to celebrate. I just had to share this birthday cake with you that my daughter made for the party. Of course the theme was Kung Fu Panda, One of Jude's favorite DVD's ...Hope you enjoy and HAPPY BIRTHDAY JUDE!!

As promised, here is one of the cards I made to swap at the Stampin' Up! Regional meeting in London, Ontario....hope you enjoy it.

I used the Dear Friend stampset, Whisper White, Certainly Celery, Barely Banana, Regal Rose cardstock and the new Tea Party Designer series paper.

The top part closes and opens to reveal the little sentiment. I used the Forever Flowers Standard Wheel and the 5/8 inch grosgrain ribbon in Regal rose. Although it's not showing up too well, I used Crystal Effects on the roses to give a little sparkle....

Hello Again,

Well as many of you know I attended the Stampin' Up! Regional Seminar this weekend in London, Ontario....What a good time, we (my stamping demo friends, Chris, Keri and Caroline) swapped, did make and takes, learned some new ideas and did plenty of laughing...especially when Caroline and Keri got the lucky draw to end up as the 10th car in the US customs line and got their car searched....I made some great new contacts from the Canadian Stampin' Up! Demonstrators...they could not have been better hosts to us. I can't wait to share the swaps that I received with you all.

This is one of the swaps that I was getting ready for the Regional meeting. I'll share the finished product in another post later today.

This was at an event hosted by Heather (An extremely talented demonstrator and a wow presenter at Saturday's SU event) We did a great make and take consisting of a box and 4 cards using the stampset Fifth Avenue Floral (item #113734) which we are calling the Manhattan flower set....check back to see some additional photos!!

This is a card I made for the upcoming Easter Holiday. I used the Sizzix Big Shot die Scallop Circle (113468) for the basket and several other Stampin' Up! punches to create the bunny. The base is Summer Sun and the basket is Chocolate Chip Card Stock.
