Sneak Peak from Summer Mini Catalog

I saw this card on a blog by Michelle Zindorf and knew I had to case (copy and share everything) it....I just love this new stamp set called "Elements of Style" and Michelle's design has all of the elements that I love, shading, coloring, and highlighting. Extra Large Two-step Bird Punch

The Extra Large Two-Step Bird punch (item # 117191) is so very versatile it can be used to make birds on a branch to be sure but it can also be used to make wonderful flower petals, tulips and you can also use the negative punch as a template to sponge on paint to give a different look to your cards....It's also one of the new style of punches being made for Stampin' Up! so that you can store them so much easier a great idea for those of us with too many tools and not enough space...

More Roses for Mom

OK, so I just can't get enough of making these paper roses using the Extra Large Fancy Flower punch currently in the Occasions Mini Catalog (item # 118073)....pink roses, purple roses, yellow roses even roses in pumpkin pie... I just love them. I found these cute little frames at one of the Big Box stores in their clearance center and thought it would be a great backdrop for the roses....I love how it turned out and hope you will too. I'm going to put a picture of my mom in this one but it would be a great thing to make for Mom or Grandma with the grandkids pictures.....
