This little treat box has been making the rounds on the internet blogs and I knew I had to make some of these for my friends. It's a really quick and simple project to make I started with a basic mini pizza box 3 1/2" X 6 1/2" scored at 1/2", 3", 3 1/2" and 6" along the longest side and 1/2" and 3" along the short side. make your box and decorate as desired. For mine I used a Big Shot pumpkin sizzlits die (makes for a really quick project) decorated the top with designer paper and google eyes. On the inside I added the following poem that I printed on the computer...
"I started to carve a pumpkin with
my carving knife and scoop. But the pumpkin got so scared, He took a little poop.It looked so cute and funny-just like a candy treat. So I'm sharing it with you now, because you are so sweet."
I put a little pumpkin pie cardstock behind the poem to help it stand out and filled it with candy corn I found at Walgreens. I wanted the kind that was already prepackaged in small batches. Easy peasy!!
