Halloween Take 2

This is a card my friend and Upline Chris Kolly created for the Halloween season. She used Pumpkin pie card stock for the base and Whisper white cardstock using the spider web textured impressions embossing folder covered in glitter (love it) To create the little witch the new Two Step Owl punch (118074) was used the bats are also a new punch this year called the Bitty Bat (119279). The ribbon is one of the in colors for 2010 called pear pizzazz and the sentiment comes from the House of Haunts stamp set (111574)

Up Coming Stamp-A-Stack

I know, I know it's not even Thanksgiving or even Halloween for that matter and I'm already getting things ready for the Christmas Holiday with a Stamp-A-Stack. But we all know how it creeps up on us and bam it's the first of December and the cards need to go out and then the rush is on to get everything done.....SOOOOO let's get started a little early and reduce the stress that we all know is coming.

We will be doing 10 cards 2 each of 5 different designs for $20.00 or you can opt to do 5 cards 1 of each of design for $10.00. Monday, October 18 at 7:00 pm here in the Craft Room at 7198 Pine Knob Road Clarkston. This will be a pre-pay when you register event. Halloween Trick or Treat

Are you ready for the Halloween Trick or Treaters? I will be showcasing several spooky projects that will be just perfect for gift giving. The original design for this came from Erica Cerwin that I saw while blog surfing and thought it was just too darn cute.


For this project I used basic black card stock for the base of this little pocket sanitizer, as well as for the 1/4 grosgrain ribbon. The top is real red card stock embossed using the Spider Web textured impressions folder (120889) and then covered in dazzling diamonds glitter (102023). I love glitter on just about everything LOL!! I cut out the little spider from the Dark & Dreary stamp set from the Holiday Mini Catalog as the final spooky touch.

Here is the inside of this little project

The inside has the Happy Halloween stamp from the Dark & Dreary set (120837) This is a great set to use for your Halloween projects. The hand sanitizers came from bath and body works in various "flavors" ...This will also make for a cute Thanksgiving or Christmas gift, just change out the colors and the stamp sets and viola it changes for the season's.

Paper Roses

As most of you know I love roses so today I watched a video on how to make paper roses on YouTube by Vickypgr and thought I just had to try them out. So this is the card that I came up with. I'm sure it's a skill that takes some time to develop but I liked how they turned out....I will keep practicing though.



I used all Stampin' Up! products including Crumb Cake for the base, Pink Pirouette as the layer and Presto Patterns Specialty Designer Series Paper sponged with Crumb cake classic ink to give it a distressed look. I used the 2 3/8 inch scalloped punch and (ops) retired Kraft 3/8 taffeta ribbon to finish it off.

The roses were made from the 1 3/4 circle punche, cut in a spiral and then wrapped around a paint brush handle. I took a picture to let you see how it progressed.

Surprise Gift

We had our demo get together last week and I came bearing little gifts every girl would love. I found this on Lorri Heiling's website and thought it would be the perfect thing to case for my girlfriends.

I found the round note pads at the Dollar Tree store and the lipstick pens on the internet that were perfect for this project. (Don't you just love how you can find anything on the Internet LOL)

I used our Stampin' Up! colors to match the lipstick cases, they come in assorted colors, as well as black and silver card stock for the compact case.



Here it is closed up ready to give.
